Introducing…model and actress Susan!
Susan has worked on campaigns including Bayliss and Hardy and M&S.
What is the most rewarding thing about modelling?
Working within a creative environment amongst talented and interesting people. I love being part of a team working towards a clear goal which is to fulfil the Client’s ‘vision’ for the Product. The job has taken me to some wonderful locations, and the food and way we are looked after on shoots is well worth the early starts!
What is your modelling diet?
I have never ‘dieted’. I feel it is much more vital to eat healthily and take regular exercise. I have realised over the years the importance of a balanced diet, portion control, the development of good core muscles, and a toned strong body. I eat lots of vegetables and fruit and I love fish! I am passionate about Yoga, Running, Pilates, Zumba and ‘Insanity’ Boot Camp Fitness classes. All that said – I do love the odd glass (or two!) of good wine.
What is your top tip for gaining a job at a Casting?
Castings can be so subjective, and I have no hard and fast tip for ‘Getting The Job’. Be true to yourself in terms of the way you present yourself- you are either what they are looking for or you are not. Most of all do not take rejection personally, and try not to beat yourself up about it.
If you were stuck on a desert island, which three people would you want with you?
Probably three guys I consider to be really good friends. Provided they could match my inventive and practical survival skills, had a well developed sense of team spirit, were brave, could make me laugh my socks off, were resourceful and strong I am sure we would all rub along brilliantly!! So much so, that I might even reconsider plans of escape, and happily settle to a life of Crusoe! 😉
The cheesiest song on my Ipod…
Believe it or not, I don’t possess an Ipod.
